I'd write him off until he shows both the talent and dependability needed to be on the major league radar.

Also with the random AAA guys we have (Williams, McGowin, Voth, and then Crowe in AA and likely AAA by June) I think moving one of Fedde/Voth to relief now is the smart move. We need the help in the bullpen now.

Rediculous. His fastball went down 1.2 MPH. He still averaged over 97 MPH. There could be multiple reasons why is declined.

He has always had high walk #'s. His career average is 3.5. So he averaged 1 more walk per 9. Big deal.

Plenty of pitchers struggle in the postseason. Hell, Scherzer got lit up but does that mean he is done? Regardless, he still got the job done closing out games and didn't blow any. Isn't that what counts?

It's insane to think that guys think he is done after 9 postseason games when he didn't even pitch that poorly.

No sense arguing with these knucks at this point. We'll see if Rizzo signs him soon enough or not. I'm hoping we do get him.

Those are both big deals for a guy who is 30.

Dude, Kimbrel was trash. They won in spite of him. He literally couldn't trusted with a one run lead in the postseason.

Hes not worth going over the luxury threshold and not being able to make deals at the deadline.

Never understood tending him a contract. Obviously he doesn't have trade value even at 850k. Well at least it's only 142k towards the tax threshold.

I wrote Treinen off as just needing fresh scenery and we knew that Felipe Rivero had talent when we moved him, but if Solis takes off I think it will require the Nationals to take a long hard look in the mirror.
