Looking at top stats, don't count out Brian Anderson in Miami. He's posted .277 .358 .396, and has played a full season.
Acuna is at .286 .355 .571 with 50 fewer games
Soto is at .287 .408 .512 with 45 fewer games
Acuna has 10 steals and 21 HRs, which probably gives him the edge versus Soto (15 HRs, 2 steals). Anderson has 9/2.
Jack Flaherty could get some consideration, 7-6 in 21 games started with a 2.97 ERA and 144 Ks
Unless Soto goes on fire to finish out the season, I don't see how he gets the award.
