What is the weather policy for ASG?  Do they bump it a day (that would really annoy a lot of players, I'd bet)?

In 1969 (last time it was here) it was rained out on the scheduled night (Tuesday) and played the next afternoon (Wednesday).  I can't think of any reason they wouldn't do likewise.  Annoyed players? They'll get over it.

Maybe some "cheap" tix if it was switched to a Weds afternoon game. Some people gotta work.

Some bad juju out there with the Nats. Hasn't rained in almost a month and their huge event gets rained out??

Storms rolling through between 3 and 6 today. Should be clearing out by the time the game is supposed to start.

Now that I think about it, used to be that play resumed on Thursday, which is why the 1969 game was Wednesday afternoon.  They could play it Wednesday night.  Would piss of the players, but would piss of the fans more to play it in the afternoon.

Those new misters up in the Loft are nice on those brutally hot days we have on occasion, but they continue to run them seemingly without regard for what the conditions actually are.  Last night was breezy, and downright pleasant at 82 degrees, yet they continue to blast the rain out throughout the entire game.  And those things are NOISY.      :wtf:

I made a request of one usher and he rolled his eyes and said that he has made numerous requests to turn the things off, but they just get ignored.

Tomorrow doesn't look promising either.    I was wonderin' would they try a day/night tomorrow?

If we're lucky, they'll both be made up in September

Nah.  The more games rained out now while we stink, the more games we get to  play later in the season when we're playing well and the Braves are sinking.  Pray for a rainout today.

Monsoon, I'm guessing this one is called.  Braves are back here Tuesday, August 7, for a three game series.   Probably a double-header that Monday.  Both teams have Monday off.

Why? Both teams are off Monday, August 6.
