Oh, and as for the content, we let slip a one off reference to something like that and figure folks move on.  In a signature line, every post, yes, we'll have to think about it.

Tom has the basic moderating rule right.  Try to keep the overt sexual references in the uncensored section, avoid violent threats, no pictures that could get us in trouble with DOJ, and keep the bigoted stuff off the board in any section.  Stuff slips by occasionally as a one off, but if it develops into a back and forth, that usually will provoke some action.

you are good, everyone's good so far.  I think we've gone over a year since we've banned anyone, and that was a Cubs troll who spammed the board after game 5.  Muting for me (24 hours) is the way to go when I try to figure things out, or else break of a back and forth into its own thread.  I really don't track the GDTs much - to me, posting on a GDT takes me away from watching (or drinking at a bar). I usually do my review during the AM.

I saw this on Quick Pitch last night. Of players with minimum 50 occurrences, RZ is number one in average exit velocity. The host even seemed surprised herself. She then said he’s “unlucky” 😉

He is hitting the ball as hard as anyone in baseball. He will be above .260 in a month.

He also was pretty high up in exit velocity in 2016 when his average showed that he couldn't hit a parked garbage truck with a Suburban. Exit velocity doesn't mean anything if it goes into the glove of the other team. His launch angle needs to either go higher (preferred, as more doubles and singles in the gaps or liners dropping in between IF and OF) or lower (more low liners below chest height). Right now he his hitting it hard but at chest level.
