So many bad games. Teams need to play starters more in preseason to get ready.
That would make sense, but the league has become so hypersensitive on player injuries that teams nowadays try to minimise the risk of season-ending injuries to key players by not playing them for more than a few snaps.
And then we have that masterstroke of the Redskins playing that third-string QB for the whole of the pre-season finale...and then cutting him (poetic justice that he ended up at the Eagles?)...but then again that's Danny Snyder's Redskins (of which I was once a STH, 2000-10) and little, if anything, surprises me about
that once-proud organisation.
