Yea Brady didn't give up 40+ points but still I mean he's 40 years old! The end can't be far away!

Isn’t that how it always works?  You’re not old until the instant that you are.

Of course, we all saw Peyton fall off the cliff two years ago, we know it could happen to Tommy at any time :(

'The Making of Colin Kaepernick' now in the online Post (and coming in this weekend's The Magazine): http://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/the-making-of-colin-kaepernick/2017/09/07/d4d58e20-9320-11e7-8754-d478688d23b4_story.html?utm_term=.f1f6cf16a0d2

...whatever one may think of Kaepernick and of his chances of ever playing in the NFL again, the media sure does love to stir the pot with him (even now, with the season underway and plenty of real stories available).

As I was going up the stair
I met a man who wasn't there!
He wasn't there again today,
Oh how I wish he'd go away!

Yeah, not what I was insinuating. Just was annoying as freak to hear Collinsworth going on and on about it.

That's what you get for paying any attention to Collinsworth.

Best thing about being in Cincy is that I get to see him on some local car dealer commercials.

fell asleep at half time with NE ahead, woke up to find that they got blown out.  I guess the defense tired in the 4Q?

Hightower left in the third with an injury and they seemed to fall apart rather quickly after that :(

So that means he can continue playing? If so, then the suspension won't stand because the chick in the incident already got paid to go away and nothing will come of this.

Could be Bortles, "Blake Bortles has thrown 80 touchdown passes to a combined 9 NFL teams." (bortles facts is the best nfl twitter account by far)

I prefer Capt. Andrew Luck, but Bortles facts isn't bad.

The real shocker in Week 1 was Jaguars all over Texans 29-7.

So many bad games. Teams need to play starters more in preseason to get ready.

That would make sense, but the league has become so hypersensitive on player injuries that teams nowadays try to minimise the risk of season-ending injuries to key players by not playing them for more than a few snaps.

And then we have that masterstroke of the Redskins playing that third-string QB for the whole of the pre-season finale...and then cutting him (poetic justice that he ended up at the Eagles?)...but then again that's Danny Snyder's Redskins (of which I was once a STH, 2000-10) and little, if anything, surprises me about that once-proud organisation.

Did anyone catch that awful sideline reporter during the chargers/broncos game last night? :smh: I actually felt bad for him. He made Debbi Taylor appear competent by comparison. They must've pulled the plug on him after the first "report" because I don't recall seeing him again the rest of the night.

Not sure how an increase in major injuries makes the league better.

He was freaking awful. And it's not really his fault. He isn't qualified for the job. Just hire the BEST qualified and this crap won't happen. It was awful to watch and it was awful for him to have to endure. They ended up having to pull the plug on him. That is humiliating.

Well like I said he's rolling with it very well and really winning people over on twitter, someone said he's on espn deportes so he's not s novice in front of a camera, maybe he just needs to get more familiar with football?

Or with English. Why can't we just freaking say what is right in front of us? For that job you need to be proficient and fluent in English (although they have hired people who can't freaking put together a coherent thought like Ray Lewis and others). He needs to polish his English and also, like you said skippy, learn more about the game of football (which again, they don't seem all that concerned about hiring people who know the game).
