Let's see, Desmond watches 2 belt high pitches down the middle go by and then swings at a pitch that was a foot outside.

And nothing is said to him.

Seriously, for anyone who said he's being kept in the lineup because we're not mathematically eliminated yet I say THAT is the reason he should be riding the bench!

Watching Harper this season has been an absolute joy. One of the few only good things.

Cespedes has been invaluable to the Mets that's got nothing to do with the NY media :smh:

Maybe I'm old but one of the things I like is the announcers talkin' about "the game".

No one is arguing that he's been invaluable to the Mets. But the fact that the media is promoting him for NL MVP is comical.

Just realized the Iggles are on Monday Night Football.    Probably why there's nobody in the stadium.

He's only been in the NL for three months, right?

Great player. Would love to have him. But he's not a serious NL MVP candidate.

I think welch nailed it in another thread.    Cespedes is on a hot streak.   That's not MVP.

Unless you're on a hot streak the entire season like Harper has been. ;)

I don't want to Desmond ever again unless he's in a Mets uniform.

What a surprise....Desmond watched 2 good pitches, then dove for dogshyte on the 3rd....and then...another surprise...Ramos the lumbering putz, swings futilely at the first pitch and hits into a DP.....izzat the first time these two events have occurred this season...??  not really, which is why this collection of overpaid hackers will finish the season at least 9 behind the Mets, a real MLB team.
