Would it be correct to label Desmond as a 'mistake hitter'? He can't hit a decent pitcher at all it seems.

It's good Clint is getting more time at 1B--will be ready to platoon there with Ryan next year (meaning he will play the 2/3 of the games when Ryan is on the DL).
