That's nice. Still needs to make contact more. I don't care if they become lazy fly balls, but striking out with men on/in scoring position is unforgiveable in a clean up hitter.

Unforgiveable 904 at bats for this cleanup hitter.

that last home run, unbelievable.  He's going to hit the scoreboard someday.

First player at his age since al kaline in 1955 to hit 3 in a game.

I remember Joe Lahoud.  Played with Billy Conigliaro, Tony's brother.

Sorry, Harper is the youngest since Kaline in 1955 to hit 3 home runs "and" have at least 5 RBIs.

Harper is the youngest player in MLB history to hit 3 home runs in a game on May 6 and then show up to a playoff hockey game that evening swimming in a hockey sweater.

And jeans that probably had holes in them when he bought them.    :)

He probably bought them on line and couldn't inspect them for defects

Redskins GM discusses where Bryce Harper would play on the football field

"I thought, maybe corner. But I’m thinking, uhh, okay, no, he’s gotta be a safety. He’s a white guy.”

I guess he never heard of Pat Fischer.  (Ironically, the same number.)

Yes he was.  Huge mistake on my part, I got Harper and Strasburg mixed up.  Thanks for the correction.

He just needs to get that BA up so he can be a legit superstar. .260 ish isn't good enough. But I love his more patient approach.

Was Harmon Killebrew a legit superstar?  Lifetime .256.   I

f Harper can crank out 40-50 homeruns a year, he's a legit superstar even with a .260 average.

He's on pace for 45, so he needs to keep it up.

I was always a Fischer fan.    I liked him back in his Cardinals' days.    He and Larry Wilson would bring the lumber.
