Buffalo resident here, long time bills fan. Tough week (which seems to happen a lot) - Mr.Wilson brought us something that we cherish so much.

Bills fans are already having a giant tailgate on Sunday at a famous parking lot located next to the stadium for a memorial tailgate, $10 with all proceeds going to jim Kelly's hunters hope foundation.

Love our team/city.

What an excellent way to honor both Wilson and Kelly, way to go Buffalo

having gone to school in central new york and stayed a couple of summers, I think that there is no better weather than up state new york from late spring to early fall- no way in hell that I'd voluntarily go there before mid april at the earliest though

Loved him in My Cousin Vinny. I know it wasn't his biggest role, but what a character.

He played DA Norwalk in Carlito's Way, one of the more under-rated movies out there.

Peaches Geldof, age 25.  Her mom, Paula Yates died of an OD back in 2000.  Apparently having a saint for a husband/dad is hard on women.  Sad.

OK, but you get Simon Lebon's part.  Or Bono's.

regardless of your politics, the Ballad of Hurricane is an awesome song, both musically and in terms of its influence.  I don't think there's anyone who became aware of Carter in the mid / late 70s who was not influenced by that song.  If it was just lousy preaching, then it would not have had its impact.  It just swirls with power and pacing.  You (and I) may not have been convinced of his innocence by some celebrity's appeal, but you probably did not give Carter a single thought before you hear that song.

As an aside, Marvin Hagler is associated with Brockton boxing, but his early childhood was in Newark.  His mom left right after the rioting that is the backdrop for Carter's arrest.

Dylan's rarely been so potent as with that fiery assault on the establishment.

Can't say he didn't have a full life.  And for Nats fans, a productive one.
