Has Nats Park switched over to become a Ticketmaster venue for all events, or are they just using Ticketmaster for the Springsteen concert? I just got tickets for an extremely reasonable $69.50 each, but Ticketmaster being the way they are, there were another $62.90 in fees on top of that, including a $45.00 "facility charge."

did this go on sale through the Nats?  I don't recall seeing anything about it.

Just got my Springsteen tickets as well in Section 209. $159 for the two closest to the aisle, $149 for the rest. With fees, about $200 a ticket.

No idea. All I knew about was the "Verified Fan" onsale this morning. There was one for Baltimore as well, but even though that show is on a Saturday night I don't see any reason to drive up there, and I don't want to pay money to attend any event at Camden Yards.

You could just watch a YouTube concert video from when he was good and Clarence was still around.

eh, I really liked Johnny 99 with the full horn section, tbh.  I think there's youtubes of it from Milan maybe?  PRobably Barcelona too.

Just got an email from the Nationals announcing ticket availability.

I just got one about 20 minutes ago as well. Oddly, I also got a message from Ticketmaster saying I was "off the waitlist" for Baltimore. They had never told me I was "on the waitlist" in the first place. Doesn't matter. I signed up for Baltimore solely as a fallback in case I didn't get tickets for DC, but since I got them, I'm not going to bother with Baltimore.

Oh come on.  I'm listening now to a concert from three weeks ago on XM Sirius. His voice isn't where it was 20 years ago, but it's still very good. And I'd bet everyone at that show had a good time.

That’s because they are old and the first time they have been out of the house in months.  :hysterical:

Clarence was such a part of the show for me. Just hard to imagine going without him.

yeah, thankfully his nephew has done well holding down the fort versus some no-named person with no ties to the original band.

I heard for Season Ticket holders, if you want to sell your tickets, they are now with SeatGeek instead of Stub Hub

there's a thread on reddit where folks are saying that the ballpark app concessions map for Nats park no longer shows Ben's Chili Bowl or Hard Times. Also premium beers are now $16.50 plus tax.

The $16.50 price is from last year. I paid $25 for a single beer and bag of peanuts at the last game I attended. The concessions map on the Ballpark app does not list Ben's, the concessions list on the team website appears to still have the list from last year. Where is Nats320 when we need him?

I just can't bring myself to pay $15-20 for a beer that will be warm by the time I finish it.

I expect to be disappointed with the concessions around the upper deck. The variety seems to get worse every season, and last year, half the windows weren't even in operation due to the tiny crowds.

Looking at that map, it looks like Ben's has been relocated to behind section 140. And it looks like Grazie Grazie is gone. I'll miss that place.

Might as well close the 300 and 400 levels and relocate fans downstairs for weeknight games.

I had them do that at a Wizards game one time but no team is going to do that on a regular basis.

Don't they close the upper deck at OPACY? The Redskins covered up and removed tons of seats at Fed Ex. I'm pretty sure I've seen games in Tampa and Minn where they had upper deck outfield sections covered in tarps.

That’s different than having people buy the cheap seats and inviting them downstairs to sit next to people who paid more.  Some folks will want the cheap seats to just get in and walk around and watch standing. I’ve done it.

It’s seems really bad to having to follow the example of the WFT, the Orioles and baseball team in Tampa. If only we could emulate the Rays on the field.

when we were there for the anniversary of OPACY game last year, they had two upper deck sections closed off.  Concessions were a nightmare with long lines and outages. They don't have order-by-app like we have at Nats park.

It's not unusual though for better concessions to be on the main level.
