You're right.  And of course once this 10 Years campaign is done and we're into 2016, the Class of 2005 partial plan holders will revert to pond scum status.

Free country, we all make choices.

Got my email today.  I think the blowback about the way they branded the Nats Plus program as being for "the most loyal" fans while pointedly excluding partial plan holders had some impact.  They're actually including all long term STH in the 10 year campaign, even those lowly partial plan holders like me who weren't deemed "loyal" or "enthusiastic" enough to be part of Nats Plus.

I had a partial plan for a couple of years before going full monty.  But now I hate the idea having to walk around the track with those people.   Hopefully they have chariots for us to ride or something with some dignity and don't put us in back with the 20 gamers.

Maybe your chariot will be pulled by matching white steeds, and they'll give us 20 gamers the shovel and pail to walk behind you.  :mg:

Here you go, now you guys get to be the most loyalist fans in the ball park :-)

Now the people who have not been SPH since 2005 will call this elitist. :mg:

But as long as I'm getting free stuff, I'm ok with it. But I really don't need the recognition...

of course, in my ridiculously complex group, my predecessor ran the group from 2005- 2009 and I've run it from 2010 to 2015, so who should get the perks?

of course, I'll split them and offer them to my group

Some of the benefits are impossible to distribute evenly. Stuff like the mound dirt, the 10 year pin, commemorative 2005 ticket, etc.. And since none of my partners have been with me since 2005 I think I'll keep what I want and give away the other benefits willy nilly.

Keep everything!  As a fellow season ticket group administrator, I know the effort we put in is woefully underappreciated and undercompensated.  You deserve that mound dirt!

I decided at the last minute to take advantage of Familly Photo Day, which is being offered this Saturday and Sunday. I wasn't that interested but my wife talked me into it.

I forget, did Harvey show up in photos with Jimmy Stewart?  If he did, then maybe I'll go with the pookah that has been hanging around CCSP.

Nah, it'll be the kind of weather MDS cycles in shorts and a t-shirt.

Just came back from Family Photo Day. Nice event. Three photo stations on the field with the scoreboard in the background. You were also allowed to take pictures on the field and in the dugouts. In the concourse, there were a couple of photos stations. They provided prints and access to electronic files.

Nice quiet event without the usual hordes. I'm glad my wife dragged me to it. I would do it again.

Was stumbling around the ACCESS Nats site today trying to figure out if I was credited for everything I should have been, and saw an offer of Nats license plate frames for a mere 50 RCR points.  Given I'm sitting on about 900 that are worthless, I splurged for a frame.

 :woop:

Then I got this email:

Quote
Dear Tomterp*,

This email contains the attached redemption coupon(s) which have been purchased via the Marketplace.

Please print out each attachment and bring it with you to the Season Plan Holder Lounge behind section 139. You will need the printed attachment to redeem your purchase.

Marketplace Items must be picked up at Nationals Park during one of the remaining home games in the 2014 season. In the event that an item is not picked up at one of those events, the Washington Nationals will not mail said item or make it available for pickup at another date.

Regards,

The Washington Nationals Ticket Sales and Service Department

Deadline for plan holders to renew for the 2015 season was December 13.

If you are a partial plan holder who would like to upgrade to a half season plan but retain your current seats, you can call in and find out if your seats are available on other partial plans or have already been renewed.

As I understand it, the half season plans are combinations of either Abe/George or Tom/Teddy.

That may be true, but they're being referred to as Bill's Plan A and Bill's Plan B this year. Plan A seems to be mostly Monday/Wednesday/Friday/Sunday games, while B is mostly Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday games.

Any full or half season plan holders receive a three game pack mailer with a free holiday gift incentive?

Yes. Not a bad idea but I give plenty of tix as gifts during the season. Don't need to spend more.

Hey, gotta call from Sean who must be my personal representative from the team or whatever. Is there really any benefit to interacting with this guy?

Only if you think you may need to talk to a live person once in a while.  Sometimes they can help, most times they can't but at least you can have a conversation instead of wondering what happened to the eMail you sent.
