The braves fans probably would say the same thing about the Nats (which sounds as delusional as Nats fans did).

Everything about the philllies and the braves suck from their douchebag players to their white trash fans to their crap hole towns - See how that works,  it's a message board, people talk crap. That's what it's for.

But I love how you tout yourself as the  "voice of reason" though - how all Nats fans are delusional except for you. How all Nats fans are homers except for you. How all Nats fans are short-sided and one-sided except for you. You do it all the time. Whenever anyone says anything positive about the Nats or negative about another team, you come riding in on your white horse to put all us delusional fans in our place.

It's the same crap Nats fans were saying about the phillies and now the braves. That should illustrate how stupid some of you looked when you said the same crap about those teams.

Some of it is even the same crap Nats fans were saying about the Nats.

This all seemed very well reasoned and necessary

I think that true of all message boards - fans are way harder on their own teams than other teams

They do have a point though - the Phillies were champions and the Nats have been mostly disappointing.

Every message board needs a Lone Ranger

Otherwise there's chaos and anarchy :panic:

Nats have been around 10 years, the Phillies for 110 - I mean c'mon man

But that's funny though coming from a Braves fan - there's pretty much no team in history that's been more disappointing than the Braves - all those division titles, all those playoff flame outs -

But that's the beauty of fandom and message boards - everyone gets to talk crap!

A scene from the pilot episode of "Walker, Texas Ranger" was actually filmed at the college campus where I work. It lasts about a minute and contains Chuck Norris being made clearly uncomfortable by a man in a brightly colored Speedo.

It's not like you need a reason to hate the fans of the other division teams. You hate them just because. And then you can make up some rationale later.

Note: Sunshiney love all mindset applies only to Nats fans, not those of other teams.

Probably the same thing red sox fans were saying.  :stir:
But the Red Sox are pretty bad...have the same record as the Cubs. I'm confident we'll at least win the series.

In other words, they've continued to suck, but they've gotten lucky.

The division is ours.

Goodness gracious, the Nationals staff SHOULD ALL BE FIRED!  Everybody and the scouts and Rizzo for hiring them all.

The Braves came out with a plan and executed it to perfection.  BJ Upton led off with a single then stole second.  The #2 hitter bunted him to third and Freeman drove him in with a single.

Braves 1-0 in the first inning.

The Nationals never have anything like this as far as preparation goes.

They did. Hammel pitched a great game, like he has all season.

Still have a bunch of games left. The Braves will falter.

Also  on Pick Temple, and twice on Howdy Doody.

I was on Pick Temple. A "saddle sitter", before he had the pony. "from Broadcast House, WTOP".

...and, Met fans are often well-behaved, especially if the Mets are losing. They boo everybody except David Wright.
