Freeman is also hitless against the Marlins, 0 for 25.

The Braves have the most obnoxious team in the league. It's not as bad now with McCann gone but still, every guy on their team has a face you just want to punch.

The Marlins definitely knew the sign for Santana's hanging slider

Did Santana go against the Fish? I thought they slapped around Alex Wood on Tuesday and Harang on Wednesday.

Cole "Fake Tough" Hamels has the most punchable face in the league though.

Chase Utley is a strong contender though

Utley doesn't have that pretty boy thing that you just want to slap right off his face. Sort of what I was saying about Trout last week.

Even better that it ended on an Upton strike out.

LOL from HOF Kilgore's write-up

The Nationals’ fifth win in six games followed their typical three-step plan: Fall behind early. Shrug. Profit.

I think the Braves are done. Their offense makes the Nats look like worldbeaters

One has scored the 8th most runs in baseball (going into today), the other is 28th.

At least you are as hyperbolic about other teams as you are the Nats.

Nats win and Barves loss puts us in first place today.

As great as that would be, I dont expect the Braves to lose 6 in a row and be swept twice in a row.As long as we win today so we cant lose ground I will be happy. Except for the Phillies, our whole division lost yesterday so our loss did not do us any damage. If we return to Nats par with a 4 out of 5 road trip I will really feel like a turning point has been reached.

Barves pitching should regress but I'm surprised their bats have gone so cold. Then again they always struggle against the Fish and the Giants have real good pitching.
