WTF is this rumor that Cowher wants to coach here? I think this would be a terrible idea.

So does he.    He won't be here.    Who in their right mind would want to come to this CF?

I saw that ninja edit.    :)

Division champion last year

This year has a QB with a bum knee and no preseason, a DC who can't do crap, and a huge salary cap hit. Keep the same offense so RGIII doesn't have to learn a new system and start all over.

He made the decision that resulted in the cap hit,  drafted the QB and hired the coordinator. One division title in four years in a four ream division is nothing to brag about

We're 24-39 with him as head coach...who gives a freak about one division title when it resulted in a playoff game where he left his QB out there to die (though half of that is RG3's fault)

Because it's one more division title than anyone else has ever gotten the Skins under Snyder

He doesn't and it would be. This is why I don't care if Shanny comes back. There is no one better. If you get a small time coach or coordinator, Snyder will run ruckshod all over him. If you get a big name coach, you're overpaying.

Shanny inherited a terrible team and four years later,  it's worse.  His personell decisions are every bit as bad as viny 's and his coaching has been awful. It won't take much to be an improvement

Wow, this game sucks. What's up with SM? Preserving himself for a season that might count for something?

This is not true. This is a team that won ten games last season. It is not worse. We have a QB, a LT, and a running game. Skins are a lot younger and there is some depth.

When Cousins doesn't give a crap, you know everyone has completely given up.

Pretty sure Cousins gives a crap. There's no way he wants to be a back up QB for the next 10 years. This is going to be his best shot at earning a starting job somewhere else.

In fact, I'd bet Cousins and Nick Williams are the only ones who do give a crap on offense.

Yep,  that depth I'd really showing itself,  and thank God for all those eager young players manning special teams.  But at least we have a qb - granted he's a healthy scratch,  but you can't get everything. We do have an LT,  and just think we're only a defense,  four linemen,  and a couple of relievers short

Morris.

if we were playing anyone else, I'd be impressed by the defense.

Doesn't look like it, but that could be everyone else not giving a crap, I guess.

 :hysterical:

I have seen Steelers/'skins and Steelers/Eagles games in the 60s which were referred to as the "Toilet Bowls".

The Kerrigan scuffle will probably be the highlight of the game, and they didn't show it.

Of the Shanahan era? Otherwise, again you haven't watched many games over the past 20+ years.

I'll bet the Redskins lose this game, the Texan win their game and the Redskins (Rams) get the first pick but because the two teams would be tied, they'd flip positions in the 2nd round.

That means the Redskins would lose the top pick in the first and pick second in the 2nd round.

Perfect.
