I'm a little more optimistic than you, I see us at 5-11. Wins against Houston, Indy, Jacksonville, Tampa Bay, and NY.

Redskins fans, don't forget to order your papa john's pizza tomorrow courtesy of the Redskins. You get a cheese pizza for regular prize with no free toppings. The code is Redskins86.

DeCosta isn't leaving. He's the heir apparent to Newsome. Why leave?

Because football is strewn with heirs apparent who didn't get the job

The blade has fallen.

We need to find a way to put Snyder's head on the block as well.

The next few days will be telling. How Snyder handles this will indicate whether he's grown and changed at all.

Someone told me there were idiots on the radio calling for them to hire Saban or Briles.  :lmao:  They used to say the Redskins have the smartest fanbase in all of football. Actually most fanbases make this stupid claim. But the reality is that we probably have one of the dumbest freaking fanbase in all the NFL.

Never will a franchise owned by Daniel Snyder win a championship. Redskins fans should savour 1991, the year of the best-ever 14-2 regular season and the third and last Super Bowl title...for there will be no more.

i dont think a leonsis-owned team will win one, either, so the nats are everyone's only hope...

I'm afraid you're right. Alex Ovechkin may well go down as the greatest NHL player ever who never played on a Stanley Cup champion...Nats or bust, it would indeed seem to be.

John Gruden would be the perfect Snyder pick.

ovechkin's only hope is for a ray bourque-esque trade at the end of his career. so sad

Cousins finishes the year with the lowest QB rating of anyone with at least 100 PAs (58.4), including the worst completion percentage.  I was one of those who thought he'd have 3 great games and create a QB controversy.  Um, I was a bit wrong. :)

Second worst is Gino Smith - 66.3

Love this:

Even if Snyder is the chronic illness that afflicts his own franchise, and even if Griffin needs to lower his profile and heighten his craft, Shanahan’s departure is still good riddance.

What would you say about Snyder's "growth" if he hired Cowher? It's rumored that Snyder has already met with him twice.

I'd say I'm going to have some free Sunday afternoons next Fall.  I'll never support another football team, but I don't have to watch this one, either.

Yeah, if he hires Cowher...this team would be ruined forever.

Seriously, why would the franchise be damned if he hired Cowher? I'm abivilent toward him and like Roman or Bevell better, but what's the issue with Cowher?
