hopefully the national media picks up on the race angle- because why not just go for it if you're trying to make the last three games a circus

freak it, I want to see racism accusations, I want to see the offense play consistent and score points across all 4 quarters, I want whispers of QB controversy, I want considerations of us trading away a QB.

This crap's stupid but it's more entertaining than the product that was on the field the first 13 games. I'm just hoping we don't give the Rams #1 overall at this point.

exactly, football is entertainment, if the product on the field sucks, at least we can bring back the tree ring circus

Wow RT @JeffDarlington: Redskins players told Rex Grossman will backup Kirk Cousins on Sunday -- and Robert Griffin III will be inactive.

So thus far, St. Louis haul for the RGIII trade is Michael Brockers, Janoris Jenkins, and Alec Ogletree. Three defensive starters and that isn't even counting whoever they get this year.

it's shaping up to be one of the worst trades in history, all it needs for the cherry on top is top flight QB with this year's pick

18 months ago I told MDS this could very well happen but I didn't think it would be this messy/ugly.

I hope Cousins plays well because we will need him to bring back something in a trade to help this team in the long run. Hopefully Griffin gets his crap together. This should be a wake up call to him and he can come back healthy and ready to progress and help this team in the long run. I still believe he can become a good QB.

:lmao:  Definitely. I think he's waiting for Lovie Smith to be hired to come troll the freak out of us.

I'm trying to figure out what shanny gains by this- I can't imagine it's just him trying to get fired- what owner would touch him after this pissing match? Maybe it's just an FU on the way out, but I'm starting to think he views Cousins as the better QB. If cousins plays well and the offense clicks, it could go a long way towards getting Kyle another shot at an OC job

It's on NFL Network, ESPN2 and Comcast as well. There is so much being said between the lines.  :smh:

Is Shanahan finished as an NFL head coach?

One thing is sure, if last season is any indicator you will see a different game plan that utilizes normal receiving routes.

Maybe, just maybe, Shanahan knows who the better pro QB is.

I don't think that can be gainsaid. It's just that Griffin may have the more upside.

There is plenty of blame to go around. The way Cousins says that he is going to submit to authority, to me, indicates that it is commonly believed that Griffin was not willing to do that but believed himself to be the one in charge.
