Why isn't Clippard pitching? He had two easy innings last night

Therein lies the problem with Stammen, his command is very inconsistent. You can't walk Reyes there under any scenario.

Hmmm...maybe I'm thinking of someone else.  If he can keep doing what he just did, he'll be fine.  Cuz he should be good as a reliever.
I don't know, yeah Stammen should be a good reliever but he has yet to do the job and he is running out of time to do so being a 2005 draftee.

  We've still got the rest of the 7th and the 8th to get through.  He can't pitch 2 innings every night...

3rd place is a big deal for both of these franchises.  Or at least for the Mets finishing above the Nats is a big deal.
