Deal. Avatar bet for 3 months. Winner is decided when either Wang retires or Wang pitches for another team other than the Nats in the Majors.

That's ridiculous. If he pitches for the Nats next year, I win.

Nats are a major league team.

Rizzo made it sound pretty likely that Wang is a Nat next year.

With that walk, Gee has thrown 30 pitches this inning.

We all know that's what SF meant but n2p provided him with an out from his own foolishness.

I never said that, I said he'll never pitch for another team in the Majors and I stand by that statement. The Nats don't count because he is already here. We are a joke, meaning that no one else would give Wang a job.

I was hoping they'd show that 1st strike again.   Looked awful to me.

that first pitch wasn't even close, Marrerro's swing on the 2nd was great but ultimately no runs again with loaded bases

I never said that, I said he'll never pitch for another team in the Majors and I stand by that statement.

The 2012 Nats are "another" team in the majors. They're different than the 2011 Nats.

You were given an out and took it... whether you admit it or not.

n2p, why isn't the baseball in your avatar moving?

You have to press CTL-F5 every once in a while to activate it.  It's been that way since I got it. (It was my 2nd avatar here in 2005; somebody copied my original.)  Maybe a Mod with skills better than The Chief can make it continue without doing that.

With the out I gave sportsfan882, I'm hoping he'll throw this ball up and down for awhile.

You are wrong. The Nats are the Nats and that is what I always meant. He'll never pitch in the Majors for another organization.
