Might not be able to watch. Thus, I'm rooting for rain. (Sorry, guys)

Screw that.  I worked hard for the $1.78 I spent on my ticket for tonight's game.

Capital Weather Gang's NatCast says 'Frequent showers and storms around the metro area make a challenging effort for the game tonight. The game might get in with the heaviest precipitation west of the city, but it is more likely to see some rain delays or even postponement' with 90% chance of rain - and as I noted on an earlier post elsewhere, lotsa luck getting this one in - after Thursday the Dodgers have an away series at San Francisco.

Once again, not apologising for this ballclub's frequent player-personnel and other miscues but...CAN'T THIS BALLCLUB CATCH A BREAK FROM THE BLASTED WEATHERMAN??? This season has to be the worst ever on that front.

Sorry guys.  I gotta run some errands after work and would miss the quick St. Stephen outing.   Hoping for a rain-out too.

...really...considering how they cancelled that weekday afternoon game against the Pirates due to 'threat of rain' that never actually materialised....

They should probably postpone this game. The problem is that they are expecting rain for the next couple of days and moving Strasburg's start will piss people off. The only thing I object to is having him make his come back in bad weather that threatens the possibility of game delays.

Imref posted that he wont start if there's a delay.

If they do start tonight and the rain comes and goes, he'll be out of the game early.

Is this game going to be on the MLB Network or am I going to have to pirate from Nathan's MLB.tv again?

It's going to be a mess that I'll probably have to skip.  One of the serious drawbacks of coma-messed up lungs is not being able to sit out in damp air like this.  I am a sad panda.  :(

rain from Lee stretches all the way down to SC and is moving very very slowly, it doesn't look like there will be another home game until Thursday.

If this game is called it might be only a 161 game season as tomorrow's will be likely to be called as well and a Nats/Dodgers game in September effects nothing.

Wouldn't it be a 160 game season in that case?

They'd probably play a double-dip on Thursday.

Don't the Dodgers have a game with the Giants on Friday?

Correct - they start a 3-match series in SF that day.
