He did have a very nice bounceback year. Sucked he was hurt last year, but contrary to the views of some, this was not a moral failing or lack of intestinal fortitude, but merely fate.

Let me just clarify: Marquis was great for us this year, but not worth it for 1-2 more wins for the rest of the year. If we got any semi-prospects in return, I'll be happy.

I hope so. Probably give Milone a shot. He's got to get a shot in the bigs at some point. Peacock should get at least a few more AAA starts before he's called up.

The LErners just dumped 2.5 in salary plus 600K in dealing Hairston plus got cash back in the Gomes trade. If only this could go towards improving the roster and not fattening Lerner's bank account.

A couple of million saved are a couple of million earned.
