people keep sleeping on him.  he was an All-Star for a reason.  i'm such a big fan of his game.

we seem to have these short power armed pitchers in the minors ( Peacock, Demny, Selik, and Jordan).

Does anyone know what happened to Maya today.  He only pitched three innings so he was out before his inevitable implosion.  His line was 3IP, 1R, 1ER, 0BB, 2SO, 0HR and it was only 40 pitches.

Maybe they've finally figured out that his only chance of making it is as a long reliever.

Also, Gaudin pitched 2 more clean innings in the same game.  I guess they'll have to make a decision about him soon.

Maya is fine. Last nights game was rained out after 3... That's why he didn't come back to pitch more innings.

Ok.  That makes sense.
He prayed to his rain god for a miracle. Now he needs him to do the same with the big league club.

Thats why i like the guy , he had a little stint in the majors, and he was a winner.

Welcome back on the bandwagon. I've been literally the only person on it for about 15 months now.

Detwiler had another good game.  5IP, 4H, 2R, 2R, 2BB, 4SO and he's out of the game after only 79 pitches, ERA down to 4.75.

Gaudin pitches the 9th, gives up a single and that's all.  Chiefs win 9-2.

We should trade him now before he loses any value.

Kevin Keyes with 5 Doubles and 6 HRs in 83 ABs with Harrisburg. .731 OPS despite .193 BA and .261 OBP.

David Freitas is a total beast. .318/.423/.508 (.931 OPS). 40 BBs to 37 Ks. He has legit power, great hit tool, great plate approach, solid defense. Has thrown out 26/60 runners and only 2 errors behind the plate.

I have heard nothing from scouts about him though curiously.

He's been better ever since he changed the spelling of his first name.

Oliver Perez is sitting a few feet in front of me. I'm really tempted to go punch him in the back of the head.

I really want to punch Ollie. He has massive diamond studs in both ears.

Martis is much fatter in person than I was expecting.
