it's pathetic they don't have the SAL all-star game online.

SAL all-star game:

- Blake Kelso got a leadoff single and scored on an RBI groundout by Bryce Harper
- Harper went 0-2
- David Freitas struck out in both at-bats
- Chris Manno pitched a no-hit inning with 1 BB, 1 K

I drool over this potential line-up:

1. Goodwin CF
2. Werth LF
3. Zimmerman 3B
4. Harper RF
5. Rendon 2B
6. Espinosa SS
7. Morse/Laroache/1B
8. Ramos C

Rotation:
Strasburg
Zimmermann
Meyer
Lannan
Peacock

With: Solis, Ray, Cole, B. Meyers, Tom Milone, Garret Mock  8) waiting in the wings...

Bullpen: Storen, Kimball, H-Rod, Clippard, Burnett, Balester and a Long-reliever (possibly one of the lower guys above)

Did I miss anyone?

Well, if you're talking potential dream scenarios, might as well include Purke in there. Highest upside of anyone outside of Strasburg in the system.

Purke's upside is higher than Zimmermann. Purke is a legitimate ace lefty, when healthy.
Slotting him between Strasburg and Zimmermann would be disgusting.

I kind of hope for a rotation of (of course a pipe dream): Strasburg, Purke, Zimmermann, Ray, Meyer (balance of lefty-righty, for whtat that's worth), with a bullpen of: Peacock, Clippard, Cole, Solis, Smoker, Burnett, Storen.

Jesus Flores just hit the Gwinett in the head with a line drive.  The stretcher is out.  The pitcher appears to be conscious, though.

he does that from time-to-time.  do i think he can be an MLB starter?  yeah.  but i think he has a better future as a reliever.

Good to see  He's 23, would like to see him in Hagerstown/Potomac soon. Still wish we knew where he's been the last 2 years.

Clearly, he went on a vision quest the past two years.

Now he's found his calling and is back to pitching.
