There was that one season where he was good. But if the Astros don't think he can help their rotation, that's pretty bad news.

There were one and a half seasons where he was good.  Did he get hurt or something?

DFA could mean they want to demote him or trade him

The Royals DFAed Lucas May. Idiots. You release your young backup catcher to make room for Matt freaking Treanor.

So is Misty conflicted?  Her long lost brother cut to make room for her husband?

Lincecum vs. Kershaw tomorrow night. That should be a good one.

The games that I've watched, the ballparks haven't looked particularly full.  Someone's going to talk about the Nationals but Yankee Stadium wasn't full.  Busch Stadium didn't look full either and it's practically cleared out now, IN EXTRA INNINGS!  The seats directly behind home plate have been the biggest culprits of emptiness.

Cincinnati's crowd looked pretty good.

Baseball Tonight was on ESPN after the Cardinals-Padres game.  There were five games so far today and they showed highlights from four of them. Guess which one they didn't show highlights from???

Did the Braves not win impressively enough?   :|

He has done an excellent job so far and has been tremendous at explaining pitching.

One takeaway from today - the Braves are a really really good team, with a great bullpen.  If Freemen emerges into a Sean Casey-like 1B, they are going to be very good for a long time.  Kimbrel was downright nasty.
