Tim Kurkjian (one of the best in the biz) just said on Baseball Tonight he talked to a source of his in the Nats organization that said late last night he thinks the team is getting closer to a deal with Hudson, they won't budge from there offer which is just a bit above $3 million.  Other teams are in on O-Dog, but not willing to pay that much.  

Again, I'll be surprised if we don't get Orlando Hudson.

Yeah 4-5 million a year probably would get the deal done... and solve the offensive side of the equation at second base.
