Sometimes you can just go so ridiculously over the top, we just don't bother.

Ouch, tough but fair :)

You're mostly rational, so the bizzaro world comments are generally easy to recognize for what they are.

:D

It was Deivi Cruz, wasn't it. I should have gone with Vidro.

You're a good guy, DPM.

Buzz Larsdon just tweeted:

Livan Hernandez said a contract proposal was sent to #Nats GM Mike Rizzo in December, and Rizzo never responded.

SF ASSCLOWN should be very pleased.

Yeah, that was an oblique jab at Deivi Cruz actually. Why did Bowden get that guy? And then hype him?

As for current events:
I still hope we become interested in Bedard or Wang. There track records show they can pitch but we all know the risk. I also like that Rizzo is weighing the options of Willingham and that we aren't in a rush to trade him.

If he really needs to, he can sign that deal on April 4th.

Or put J.D. Martin on the active roster...

While you'd think Livan could take a hint and it's pleasing that it seems as though Rizzo doesn't want Livan on the team, if this is true
Quote
[My agent and I] sent a proposal," Hernandez said. "I'm waiting for Rizzo to call me back, so I don't know what's going on. I called him a couple of times, and he never called me back. I want to go back to the Washington Nationals.

"When I call people, I would like them to respond to my phone calls and talk to me. Sometimes, it's very disappointing and frustrating. ... I want to show that I can help the team win. It's better now by signing Ivan and a couple of more guys."
, Rizzo should probably at least extend him the courtesy of returning his call, even if all he says is; "Sorry, Livan, we're not interested."  That's probably not a good rep to build.

He probably has, but he didn't have a yes or no answer at the time. Livan's just desperate at this point, I think.

Yeah... as funny as it is that he's not responding... he probably should.

Would hate for other important FA's to think he'll do the same to them.

why not, little dustin was just as young and struggled the first half of his rookie year. just kidding about the comp actually, but it not like we're going anywhere next year, I'd like to see him given a september callup

Exactly.  I'm obviously going for sarcasm, but if his swing is as good as the scouts think it is, bring him up in September and let he and Desmond be the 2011 infield.  :woop:

I'm worried about Kobernus.

I've seen scouting reports comparing him anywhere from Casey Blake to Brendan Harris.

Just hope the kid can have a full, healthy year this year.

So, we're going with Kobernus over Espinoza now?

Yep, Espinosa is a SS, Kobernus is a 2B.
