Hah, not boring for me.  Terps with their 4th win in conference, crushing Miami, while the Caps are enjoying a drama-free 3rd period with a 6-2 lead over the Islanders.  And I'm going to be enjoying tomorrow night's game in DC vs. Anaheim in a corporate fatcat suite. :worship:

Make that 7-2 Caps.     :woop:   What an offense!
Don't get much hockey in Nebraska.  Don't care enough to pay for it.  My basketball team plays tomorrow.

Is a better season place in the division, or record? Finishing strong, or overall # of wins? How about developing prospects. It's debatable unless they make the playoffs.
If you can't make the playoffs, it's about record, IMO.

UNO is pretty cool in the Quest center when people sit down when the pucks in play for a change and you can tolerate the cow bells.

no it isn't
Yeah, that isn't true either.  PANats has been wetting his pantsies over Marquis, Rizzo, Pudge, and Capps this offseason while ignoring the glaring holes this team has.  Craig "everyone crushes my fastball after the 4th inning" Stammen is going to be our #4 starter. :hang:

Yeah, but today's a Tuesday...

I've been meaning to get to one of their games.  They are fun to go to.  It's been a while since I've gone to one.

Don't blame you.  Pretty sweet watching Caps for free whenever I want, and going to a couple /three games a year.

That's the only thing I wish was that my pro teams, which admittedly is only the Nats, I follow aren't anywhere close to me.

All we need is a Stammen version of the Lannan 'Is a better man than I'll ever be' pic.

right now we are a 70 win team. 75 if everything goes right, 65 if not.

Take a look what Damon did away from the AL East. In the 45 game the Yankees played out side the AL east, Damon hit a grand total of 0 home runs.

Neat stat you picked up. His 7 road homers were all in the AL East parks.  His road OPS+ relative to the league road OPS+ was 117 and his road OBP was .349, so he is no slouch outside the home stadium.  And the reason I'm interested is that Nats Park is good for lefty who pull flies and is a good triples /speed ballpark.  Toss in decent range in left and I think he is a defensive upgrade over Willingham.  Again, I'm only interested if Willingham is gone, and I'd only move Wiilingham for decent prospects.

MLBTR:

Quote
ESPN's Buster Olney reports (via Twitter) that Tampa Bay is "in on Orlando Hudson talks."  The plan would be to install Hudson at second base while Ben Zobrist gets moved to right field.  Olney says that the move "all depends on the price," which would presumably have to be significantly lower than Hudson's $9MM asking price.

Ante up, Lerners. If we don't sign Hudson what is our middle infield?

It's a no brainer that the Nats are going to have a better season than either of those teams.

what makes you say that?

Optimism. They have played a game yet. It's as valid as any talking head on ESPN's picks.
