Any word how Sheets workout went today?
His fastball topped at 91. He pitched smoothly and cleanly, looked good. Threw one session of all fastballs, one of all breaking balls.
Hmm. I wonder how healthy he is.Since Fangraphs started tracking pitch speeds, Sheets has sat around 93 (92.7) for the last seven years.Topping out at 91 (most probably were high 80's) would be a pretty noticeable difference from what he was just two years ago.
washingnats: #Nats OF Josh Willingham will make $4.6 million.
Looks like the Nationals only sent one scout. http://twitter.com/ed_price/statuses/7959205594
