Sometimes things happen before each viable position can be taken, in which case it is necessary to modify historical posts to conform to the current situation.

Which senator do you work for?

;)

I actually used to restrict this to 30 days but I removed the restriction so that people could maintain their informational posts.  Blame N2P.

Hummm, that depends on your definition of "work for".

I hope we sign Marquis just so I can see a human being that has a bigger head than the Racing Presidents. I mean seriously, he thinks he is the reason teams tend to win?

Getting someone in the MI is looking more doable on the cheap every day.  I think Rizzo has gotten this one right.  I think catcher isn't solved at all.  As for RF, if Dukes just doesn't get it, then we've got Maxwell already up and able to play plus defense.

Maxwell doesn't have the arm for right.

And I don't think Hammer does either so moving him to RF and letting Maxwell play LF doens't make any sense either.  I think it's CF or trade for the future of Maxwell.

Who is the closest to the majors right field arm in our minor league system?  I know Morse is a converted infielder, but is his arm adequate for right?  Is there anyone above A ball?

In high school the baseball team had to special order me a helmet because my head wouldn't fit inside the other ones.

I got a bucket head.

How about Kelvim Escobar? Isn't he worth a major league deal? You'd have to think those kinds of players would sign with the Nats in a jiffy.

So about 2 years away?  A good repeat of Potomac and then an AA/AAA season?

I'd love to get Chapman.  I don't expect us to get him.  If by some chance they do, they might as well and go ahead and splurge for Darvish too and then they could have the Stras, Zimm(nn), Chap and Yu for the next decade.  Behind them they could have Lannan, Storen and Stammen.  Think of the alliterative possibilities here.

551 ABs in Potomac. I know he's young but you would think they may start him in AA this year. I don't know.

I am not really high on Burgess although he still has potential. He has hit for a low BA and his K numbers are still ridiculous.

I just posted this on the Chapman thread, but apparently he wowed the scouts yesterday, the Nationals were one of 15 teams in attendance.
