Fallacious.

I actually thought we lost 100 because I not only stepped on a couple of sidewalk cracks, but I said "no-hitter" in the 6th once and later cheered when Nyjer stole a base despite the fact we were behind in the game.

Ahhhh, looking at your dictionary again, eh? No deception or errors in reasoning here, and not being illogical.....you just wear rose-colored glasses when it comes to Dunn's contribution to the ballclub and you always will....you are a Dunn worshiper.... :worship:.. and hopefully, someday, you will come back into the light  :rites:
even poo-poo faces can be saved.....so they say....                                  :lmao:

I didn't worship Adam Dunn and kiss his feet everytime your idol's name was mentioned.

That would imply you were fairly neutral, but as I recall you were quite negative overall.

Honestly, I think I am the only person on this site that did/does worship Dunn.

Chief seemed pretty logical about the whole situation.

Absolutely didn't like Dunn as a professional ballplayer....you are right on the money there. And no, I do not have to be neutral to recognize that someone thinks a person is perfect, and walks on water, and idolizes him. It was so obvious with the Chief about his devotion to Dunn.....just look at the Adam (Dunn or LaRoche) thread......Chief was very defensive against any criticism about Dunn, and that thread is just a sample of his bias.
But, here's the deal, that is okay, that is good, because everyone has their favorite ballplayers, and everyone goes to different lengths to defend/debate about their favorites -some more than others. But if you want to get Chief on your case, or tease the Chief, just say something about Dunn. It's his button, that you can push to get a reaction.....Oh yea....and besides it's fun to give the Chief a little grief.....Global moderators and the Chief are just great fun to poke-at, tease, and harass......in my opinion... :poke:     :mg:

The fact that your reading comprehension is terrible doesn't mean I think Dunn is perfect.  I'm a reactionary poster, for better or worse.  Anyone who has spent 5 minutes reading my posts should know that.  My posts in the Adam thread are merely a reaction to over-the-top praise of LaRoche (sometimes at Dunn's expense).

Talk about carrying a grudge....Holy Cow..You still can't get over the fact that I didn't worship Adam Dunn and kiss his feet everytime your idol's name was mentioned. And I brought up the fact you refer to - 2 YEARS ago, on this board, that Adam Dunn had only hit 38 HR, and not the 40 HR, like he usually had and was signed to do--that was 2 years ago - Again  2 Years Ago....GET OVER IT-DUNN IS GONE-HE LEFT MAD AT THE NATIONALS-HE LEFT MAD - HE'S GONE....Finger Up and a BOO to Him....
     And you're still a poo-poo face - Moosebreath..... :poke:

And I didn't see Harper's hissey fits on the bench, but scouts, and fans who went to see him, did see and hear some of it, and told me about it. I believe it. You don't have to.....but since when do you put a PH in for a guy who is known to be a good hitter, and is not on the DL or injured and is playing a position in the field.......maybe Harper was just too exhausted.....I mean he is older than 16 years old.....yea, that sounds like a good excuse....
Sorry but I have this really annoying habit of not believing things without some kind of reliable source.  I know, it's kinda nitpicky.  But it's how I am and everyone is just going to have to deal with it.  I apologize to the forums for all the inevitable problems and nuisances this will inevitably cause.

Once again you assume too much about people getting you, after reading your posts for 5 minutes (typical blogger misconception).......And, poor Dunn.... And you seeing and reading the over-the-top praise for LaRoche, at Dunn's expense....OMG -Oh the horror.....Gee-zo Flip...Gimme a Break   :smh:

No I think that is a safe and wise approach to take, and I usually am looking for the reference or I mention the source I got it from. However, this information that I shared is from people who I know can be trusted and would not say something just for gossip sake or to start a rumor-these are hard-core baseball guys.....but I respect your view. Let's just see what happens with this kid and how he handles himself.......

And yet despite the fact that tons of local media flock to Hagerstown to try to get a good story on Baseball Jesus (aka Bryce Harper) they all mysteriously have had to use the bathroom at the same time and missed every single one of Harper's hissy fits?  That seems like an astonishing coincidence.

Must be a friendly group to use the bathroom all at the same time......Hey, here's a thought -irony and sarcasm doesn't work with all the folks, all of the time.....Some people get it when they are being slammed, and they choose to ignore it,.....Anyway, we will see if anything comes to light in the near future, or if it is a political matter, since he is the next bright star in the Nats future

No, no, and hell no. I don't make things up. Never have and never will. I get alot of information from the P-Nats Booster Club, scouts, baseball players -minor league and major league, hard-core baseball fans, and folks who run blog sites, and some owners. And yes, I have a wide circle of friends, at all levels. As to who you believe----your choice.

Well maybe it does, or maybe reality can be a hard pill to swallow or believe, at times.....or maybe, no one wants to hear anything negative.....it makes life a lot easier.

Thing worth remembering: if Bryce Harper is sulking, that's a heck of a lot better than if he is Adrian Beltre.

(Warning: link directs to a large number of comical GIFs)

Mmmmhmmmmm.  And I'm sure all of these numerous sources chose to release to you what would amount to highly sensitive confidential information regarding the top prospect in all of baseball.
