While I would like him to start in the minors, I do think Harper could easily be a better major league player over the course of a full season than Bernadina or T-Flush.

Pretty amazing just how much he impresses everyone who sees him.

A handful of AFL games and the only negative is some random unnamed scouts who didn't like his attitude in high school.

^I don't really mind. I just don't want him to be lower than Domonic Brown.

Trout must be amazing if he's better than Harper, though. Angels fans must be pumped to have him.

Trout is phenomenal. He may have even better range than Borjous that they already have in CF and he's got a pretty good bat as well. He made the Futures Game, and went 2-4, at 18 (19 in August) this year. He's going into AA this season. Kid is just a beast. He's got 40 SB potential and should grow into a decent power hitter as he matures (.526 SLB at A ball and .429 SLG at A+ this year).

Just think ... In the weeks keading up to the draft, mlb.com had Trout to the Nats at 10 based on rumors they heard.

I know Storen is a part of the future, nut Harper and Trout in the same outfield? That'd be amazing.

According to Trout's baseball-reference page, he was rated #85 (overall) before 2010. That's quite a leap after just a second (admittedly outstanding) season in the low minors.

He went 25th so it obviously didn't have much traction. With that said the 2009 draft is looking like a monster. The talent that is already at the MLB level, the talent coming soon, and the HS guys working out is looking like a huge 1st round by MLB standards.
