Hit a long fly first AB, RBI double on second AB, 3 run jack on his third.

I was having trouble pinpointing where it landed.  Did anybody get a good fix on it?  One angle looked like it made the concourse by the open door to the Porch restaurant, another not.

It was far as crap but I still think Dunns homer in the upper deck earlier this year was the longest.

The magic is over

Don't know if you were talking about Livan or Desmond, but you were wrong either way ;)

Yet this thread seems to be bursting with man love.

and on defense?

Bowden wasn't a total fool after all :lmao:

of course you are ready to put him(and Bowden) in the Hall of Fame after one game.

talk to me at the 2010 All-Star break. I'm reserving my criticism/praise until then. I was just curious how his Debut went.

anyway, at least we can maybe afford to stop with the Alberto Gonzalez crap and let Desmond play.

and god, I hate that smiley.

I think the Freeze Cam shows that Desmond was out on the play at home, btw.  I think the ump got that one right, sorry SF.

I didn't see it. looked safe to me. would have to see the replay a few more times.

In real time it looked really, really close.  But on the slow mo, I think he got it right.  Like the effort though.

I disagree, the glove initially appeared to be on the arm while the hand was 6" short, but as action continued it is apparent that the glove was perhaps a foot away, but the camera angle did not show that clearly.  An overhead camera would have shown the gap.
