OT: Rise Against is a darn good band, from the songs I hear.

Eh they were better before they were popular

Everything Villone says, do the opposite.

Villone's 39 and washed up.  That doesn't mean he doesn't know what the hell he's talking about.  Talent and age are the more limiting factors here, not brains.

wasn't he in just AA? i don't want him facing utley/howard
who cares? let's see what he's got. why promote him to the Majors to sit the bullpen?

Can't believe Bergmann is warming up now. Where is Segovia? :?

we have a 6 run lead and still won't use these guys. if not then when? we should see Segovia in the 9th but most likely Rig will use a bum like Bergmann or Kensing.

I'm not voting for Pedro.

i'd like to see the AAA guys against tough competition like Utley/Howard but not a guy just out of AA

Why not? All of your wildest dreams will come true if you vote for him.

Not saying we should bring Pedro in, but what are the chances that perhaps, just maybe, the writer was writing with a little sarcasm?

On topic: Do you think we'll see ID tomorrow? I wish I could throw in a poll question right now and get results as it goes. CHIEF add that.

Pedro is still a highly effective pitcher, but he's brittle and we know the chances of him throwing even 160 innings are pretty dim.  We need guys to eat innings while pitching effectively, and Pedro is a luxury we can't afford most likely.

I don't know if I could handle a Pedro AND Livan debate right now though...
