I'm just trying to get you excited for a game we are going to most likely lose even though we have PETE ORR batting second.

Why not play Guzman at 2B if that's their idea for him going into next season anyway?

Aside from Clem Lampshade, did anybody else suggest such a move was being discussed?

95% sure it was floated - where is SF when you actually need him?

Here it is:

Quote
Nats considering moving Guzman to 2B:

Quote
After the season is over, the Nationals are going to try to improve their middle infield defense. They would love to get second baseman Orlando Hudson if he becomes a free agent.

But the Nationals have a Plan B if they can't get Hudson. The team is seriously thinking about moving Cristian Guzman from shortstop to second base and then try to find a defensive-oriented shortstop. Prospect Ian Desmond is a possibility to play shortstop in 2010.

Washington has been concerned about Guzman's defense almost all season. They have been alarmed that Guzman is having a problems going to his left on groundballs.

I'm not sure why Galah wants to see garbage like Alberto Gonzalez play ahead of rookies. We already know our veterans are terrible. I would rather play the rookies because we don't know if they suck yet.

Ryan Zimmerman was a call-up in 2005 - Galah would you prefer Vinny Castilla had played instead? :|

And clearly the Rays shouldn't have called up David Price last season.

I think if he was the GM of the Phillies, he would still trot out Jim Thome until Ryan Howard proved he belonged, of course never giving him the time to prove his worth.

For those going tonight: Yahoo! Weather predicting 80% chance of rain with half-inch of rainfall; Capital Weather Gang slightly less pessimistic with 65% chance.

I know it was such a sucky game, Gonzo only got 3 doubles last night off of some minor league call up pitcher.

and quit complaining about how loud the Filly fans are unless you're willing to get your butt out of your chair and down to the ballpark
I'm sick of carrying your weight at these games

If everyone here went to Nationals Park and made a ton of noise, we'd still be drowned out by Phillies fans.

Blame the bandwagoners.

riggleman is being such a disrespectful douche. he's playing the backups, he clearly doesn't want to respect the marlins and braves. jerk. play the veterans who have given their 100% all year.

awful.
