Blame the bandwagoners.

Why? We can blame Stan Kasten for inviting them.

Dukes and Zim are hitting bombs tonight, Desmond goes 1-4, we win 6-4.

I don't mean the Philthy Phans - I'm referring to all of those wonderful "Nats fans" who are waiting for the team's first winning season to show up at the park again (aka the 10,000 or so who showed up during 2005 and couldn't be bothered to come back).

I'm on my way out the door to the game and can't wait to see Desmond!!! But Pete Orr is batting 2nd? WTF WTF WTF WTF WTF? What the **** is Riggleman's love affair with this career AA player? He takes out a guy that's 3/3 with THREE DOUBLES last night for Pete Freaking Orr, and now he's batting him second? Are the two secret lovers or does Orr just have photos of Riggleman with another woman? Whatever, with that lineup we ain't winning, regardless of whether we have "good" Livan or "Give up thirty runs in an inning" Livan.

I haven't been to a single game this season.

I can't blame you.  There's a difference between going to fewer games as the team shows a lack of commitment to winning and bailing the moment there's a struggle.

I'm not making excuses.  I value 6 hours of my time and $30-$60 of my money more than I value a 1-in-4 chance to see the Nats win in a season that was obviously lost by the time the weather warmed up.  I've still followed nearly every game on TV or the web.  If that makes me less of a fan in someone else's eyes, so be it.

What incentive does the team have to change anything if people keep attending games even when they're god awful for years and years?

I've never been to any baseball game, in fact the only pro sports game I have ever attended was a Caps game way back when I was probably 10 or so.  I have no idea who they played.

I'd go to some Nats games but I work evenings and I live 2 hours away.

Looks like it's time to walk the dog.   They're scoring early tonight.

So your not going to go to the games until they start winning? Is that it?

Someone remind me: what was Riggleman's obligation again? Something about good players?

Brad Penny will melt down now, he always did whenever Lugo made a mistake behind him.
