tim kurkjian was just on espn a bit ago after they played the nats highlights and he was talking about the state of the nats. said it was pretty discouraging, with the attendance being so low and bullpen being bad. how the club really has three first baseman getting $21 million this year (dunn, johnson, young), how one of their best offensive players from last season is in AAA right now and then he mentioned strasburg and how that could generate some interest/positive vibes.
kurkjian and rosenthal are my two favorite baseball guys, b/c they give fair coverage to everyone. i think tk made some valid points, although i like the way we've been playing the last few games. @ 7-17 we still have the worst record in baseball, but we've made up some ground the last few days.
