When is this game going to be played? And will it even have a audience or is just the last few innings in front of no crowd since it was a home game for us and not them
Dude, Texans are happy to get a free game with their ticket...

Nah, we'll get both.  I think Morgan should take second on the first pitch.  Wouldn't that be something?

Lannan will come up big tonight.

Morgan swipes second. Josh rips a liner to left. Nyjer scores. Game over.

Game 2 Lannan comes up big and we make it a big night.

with the way our season has been going, we deserve to walk-off win in another team's ballpark.  i would like to think our guys would rush from the dugout and celebrate!  god what a scene that would be.

Apparently Lannan has offered to pitch in both games tonight if needed (per a report on Nationals.com).

If the Nats win (they won't), will they celebrate at home plate? will it count as a walk-off win?

I would hope they wouldn't celebrate wildly.  I don't think that would percieved as crossing those unwritten rule lines.

huh? A walk-off is a walk-off.
That's a stupid comment IMO. If we win, we have every right to celebrate. I don't think there is much history to even compare this to another situation. If we win, we should jump the field. Of course, we should have won this game innings earlier.

Saul and Hanrahan are the only Nats pitchers that haven't given up any runs in this game.

Which proves that lightning can strike at any time. Some part of me doesn't want Hanrahan to get a win, but I just want this game to end quickly

It's an odd situation, on the road park, I think it would be seen as showing up the Astros, which is generally frowned upon.  We don't need to do a pennnant type celebration at home plate for a walk-off not in our own home park.

I wonder if I also get blacked out from Rangers games. I'm in San Antonio right now, 200 miles from H-Town.

how did tickets work for this one? place looks empty.

did people who had tickets to the regularly scheduled game at 8 tonight get to watch this one for free?

what if someone who was in D.C. had a ticket stub from that game? Could they have conceivably flown down to Houston and got in for free with that ticket?
