I actually thought something like that was a possibility, but that still gave me the creeps.

I was really hoping the big bombshell would have to do with him getting caught.

It wasn't the best episode I've ever seen.

My wife told me that the plane on Desperate Housewives had the same name as the one on Lost, so some people think there is a tie-in

Oceanic Airlines is the name of all fictional air carriers in Hollywood. It was on Cracked.com the other day.

Quote
No, and therefore pretty much every time Hollywood needs to depict an airplane crash or a huge flying fireball, they fly Oceanic Airlines. You probably know them from Lost, but Steven Seagal was sucked out of an airlock on Oceanic Flight 343 in Executive Decision and Chuck tells us an Oceanic flight was shot down by a surface-to-air missile.

Wikipedia lists a ridiculous quantity of appearances of the airline from Lost...

I didn't see it coming. After the episode ended, Lithgow and Hall were doing an interview talking about the ending and next season. Lithgow said he was glad he didn't have to write next season because you can take the show in a million different directions from here.

I believe that in the final season of the show (whenever that is) that Dexter should be caught dumping bags in the water or cutting someone up and just have the whole season about him trying to prove his innocence and stay out of the electric chair.

Damn. This Dexter season was amazing. Lithgow may have stole the season. Hall usually doing his thing though, kicking ass.

I kind of thought something like that was going to happen but not the way they portrayed it. They were alluding to it all season so it wasn't hard to see once it happened but definitely still gave me the creeps.

I definitely want Deb to find something out about him rather than everyone else. Just seems more right since shes gone through a crap show the past 4 seasons. If they do it the cop way, Id rather them just end it with him being caught... Proving his innocence would seem to much like a Law and Order show than a Dexter show.

Agreed about both Lithgow and Hall.  Trinity was a great character.  I cracked up every time he randomly called people a kangaroo.

:lmao:

I really don't think Deb will be the first person to find out the truth - I think she'll be the first one to suspect things but ultimately won't admit it.  Here's my prediction.  Quinn and Deb start dating.  Deb starts snooping more and more.  She eventually gathers a ton of circumstantial evidence that suggests Dexter as the Bay Harbor Butcher.  Quinn finds this litany of information and it validates his suspicions about Dexter.  He goes rogue and goes after Dexter kind of like Doakes, causing Deb to break up with him.  Dexter kills Quinn, Deb somehow finds out, turns in Dexter, and beats herself up over it.

that would be awesome. I could definitely see a Quinn-Dexter feud on the horizon. They butted heads a time or two in this past season. Dex caught him stealing cash at a crime scene. Quinn followed Dex one night into the bar.

I think they could end next season with Dex killing Quinn and Deb finding out and then having season 6 being the last season.

Trinity was a bad ass. I think he also dropped a few "You Stupid nag!" lines.

Dexter was really starting to crack. Rita caught him busting the light near their house. He also got arrested over stupid crap. He nearly got caught at Trinity's house before the FBI came in. The thing that happened at the end could really push him over the edge next season. He is not following Harry's code to a tee like he used to.

Harry makes a good point how hes got to many persona's going on.

It seems like their creating the same character as Doakes into Quinn and are actually fleshing it out more. I liked Doakes better though. I don't know why Dex would go onto kill Quinn though since hes got a code to follow.

haha that link is awesome. Trinity/Lithgow is the man.

Julie and Matt's relationship has pretty much run its course. Kind of glad to see it's over. I just watched the promo for the next episode, looks like it should be pretty good.

Also, they need to get back to showing more of each game. I thought they were just finishing up the first half when the QB didn't make it to the end zone, but the game was over.

Definitely. Especially when it was so close and it could have been a huge upset. The next episode looks like a big football episode (naming Vince QB), so hopefully they show more of it.
