Anyone play Magicka?  It seems pretty neat so far, and it was only $10 on Steam.

I have CGS on PSP. A pretty decent hand held RPG. I never finished though as I got stuck in one area and was never able to figure my way back out. Didn't really feel liking putting in the effort to figure that part out at that point.

what is funny about CGS is that all of the main protagonists can't freaking stand each other. its hilarious.

So did anyone get Crysis 2 or Homefront? Both games are pretty fun.

Crysis 2 is definitely the best looking console game. At least for shooters.

I played the Crysis 2 beta on PC and I have to say that game was pretty damn fun. I would buy it but saving up my money right now.

I saw that.

When the press release leads off with "this is the shortest delay yet" you know the game has been through developmental hell.

Whenever it comes out I'm going to have get my Babbages receipt and head to the Valley View mall to get my copy...

Oh, it's not 1997 anymore?  Explains why all my hair is grey now.

Anyone play any of the free MMOs out there?  I'm looking around to see if any are worth playing.  I downloaded Forsaken World last night but haven't started a character yet.

DNForever is gonna be awesome.  Tiger Woods comes out today I believe.  Gonna have to pick that up soon after I get MLB2K11.

I got Final Fantasy X out again. Possibly my favorite video game of all time, despite having the absolute worst main character ever in the history of electronic media.

You and me both.  Let's hope it doesn't get pushed back again.

Even though a lot of people are waiting for this game to be released, I think this will be the underdog as "GOTY" (even though I agree with many that this award is null).

Homefront is fun as hell. Some of the most fun I've had in a FPS in a long time.

Hmmmmmm....I might have to give it a try. Don't know if you ever played Fuel of War or not, but it was made by the same developer as Homefront. It was a blast online. It was the first game to actually have unmanned drones that you could control.

Played the beta/demo of Fuel of War and wasn't impressed by it. HF is fun imo. But don't nag me out if you don't like it. :P

I won't nag you out.  :)

I'll probably wait a little while before I get it. I'm still playing some other games right now. I'll buy it used for twentysome bucks.

If you buy it used, you'll have to pay an extra $10 (you don't have to if you buy it new) to get a code to get past lvl 5 in MP. May as well rent it and see how it is.

The reason game companies do that code now is because a used game sale does not go into their pockets. So with this code, they get $10 per used game now, which I'm okay with. I never buy used games, so it doesn't affect me. I'd rather support the developers than the greedy stores who give you $10 for a trade in and turn around and sell your copy for $40.

I think it's pretty bullcrap, though this is the first I've heard of it.
