I've had 3 xboxes RROD on me... this was pre-"fix" though.

I got my first in 2006 Christmas. 7 months later it broke. I used one of two warranties. 9 months after, it broke again. Used my second warranty (which was about to expire). Third time, I bought a new xbox and that's been with me since.

The thing that is bullcrap is now they will fix RROD for free... My most recent box is dying but it ISNT the RROD problem. Sometimes it cant read my discs, even brand new ones. Just my luck.

I thought about getting MLB.tv next season and canceling my cable sub, but MLB.tv is so expensive it's not even worth it :smh:
You also can't watch the game live.  I don't know if you knew that, local games are blacked out.  You can watch the archive, a few hours after the game, but you can't watch Nats or O's games live if you are within MASN's viewing area.

I've decided on PS3.

I need an all-in-one media box, seeing that we are a No-Cable household.

DVD, Netflix and Hulu on the same machine, on my TV = Money.  plus teh GAAAAAMES.

so PS3 and PS+ is whats up for me.

The forum server isn't in the Nats' viewing area ;)

That should be pretty easy as long as you don't mind buying used.  Brand new bargain basements start at 350-400.

What about this for $289?

Core Duo (not Core 2 Duo) 1.8 GHz, 14.1", 1GB RAM.  Doesn't seem too bad.

Making an executive decision.

Gonna buy a usb dvd drive for 50 bucks and give my wife my netbook.

And then buy a ps3.

And have money left over.

If I didn't already own a faster external I'd totally get that.  The extra power brick on mine is annoying, and for as little as I actually use discs anymore, speed is hardly a major concern.

I will tell you ps3 guys my ps3 tag when I get home.

MAG is a fun game. I liked it until BC2 came out. With MAG though you can really get some good teamworking going. Good purchase.

My PSN is tradecki

PS3 can use *any* bluetooth headset, right?

I probably won't even play Mag tonight. Gonna spend my first day running around in Home.

Can you order MAG on PSNetwork?

If so, I'll pick it up and we can get a game going tonight.
