From the way they describe proxy rushing I guess I need to scout alot earlier. And thats nonsense about tanks.

Yeah I don't quite get that either.  Granted I haven't played a ton lately, but I barely ever see siege tanks getting used, especially in siege mode.  I think Terrans are just getting hit with the nerf bat extra hard because of the common perception of them as the most unbalanced race right now.  I'm sure it'll be somebody else next time around.  Probably Protoss.  I'm actually really surprised that Void Rays didn't get nerfed.

Protoss are the strongest race of the three with Zerg being the weakest IMO. BC's get raped easily in this game. Sure statwise they may seem the strongest but I haven't been able to see that when I create them.

I can see why VR's didn't get nerfed since I know some strong strats against them. M3 is one of the best strats in the game. It takes out literally everything.

Marine Marauder Medivac?  It's pretty strong but I feel like rushing with a large number of purely shielded/stimmed Marines will usually win if you do it early enough.  Granted it's also an easier strat to counter if you know it's coming, and doesn't work as well on larger maps.

Yeah but with the amount of damage you want its tough to pump out rines and rauders with the resources you gain early on. Plus I like going with about 6 tanks. They compliment eachother nicely. I think the strongest thing against the M3 is another terran doing it. I could see Brood Lords being tough as well.

sooo...

I just started playing League of Legends. pretty fun, but I suck at it.

you warcraft/starcraft rts dudes, if you have ever played Defense of the Ancients, League of Legends is basically that, minus the Warcraft, plus some  other stuff.

supposedly it is made by the same guy who made DOTA Allstars.

pretty fun, and it runs great on my netbook.

I'll take a look at it. DotA was one of the greatest customs I have ever played. Starcraft has one too, although its not as great as WC3's it's still decent.

Looking at the screens: It looks exactly like WC3 engine

I need a new game.  I just haven't been in a StarCraft mood lately, I played the crap out of Torchlight for about 3 weeks and am done with that for a while, and I just can't get myself back into Oblivion like I used to.  I guess three 80+ hour play-throughs has pretty much worn that game out for me.

Anyone have any recommendations?

so I have been using my Wii basically as only a Netflix box.

decided I should start getting more use out of it, so I have reactivated my Gamefly account. pretty nice backlog of games I've never played here for the Wii

first up, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

I got GTA Episodes From Liberty City for my PS3.  It sucks.  Huge input delay makes it unbareable.

I don't know if I should buy a PS3 or a XBox360.

Both can do Hulu plus.  Not sure about free Hulu.

Honestly I'd prob go with the 360.  It's more mature as a platform and generally a better value.  Live costs money, but from everything I've heard it's well worth it.  All I ever hear about PS Network is that it's kinda stagnant and not nearly as populous as Live.

Disclaimer:  I have neither console, so my opinion - while unbiased - is also not based on personal experience.

XBL just has more features, like the ability to voice-chat out of game in a big party. Connection-wise, they're both equal. PS3 has the built-in wifi, 360s don't unless you're getting the brand new ones.

Both do Netflix.  On the 360, it requires Xbox live Gold, which is $50 a year.  You also install the Netflix app from the marketplace, no disc required like on the Wii and PS3.

Right now, PS3 is the only console with hulu.  It requires Hulu Plus, which is $9.99 a month, and it also requires PlayStation Plus, which is $50 a year.  Hulu is supposed to be coming to the 360 at a later date though.

Personally, I feel the PS3 is the better media center, but the Xbox360 is superior for games.  I actually own 2 PS3s, one is in the "game room" with the 360 and Wii.  The other is in the living room and is primarily used as a media center, ie Blu Ray, Netflix, Hulu Plus.
