What Law is completely ignoring is that Dunn will not COST us a draft pick right now, as he was not offered arbitration, yet he is a strong contender to net us a draft pick at the end of his contract, as long as he is a type A free agent at that time.
So at the very least, he *could* end up getting us a late first-rounder in two years, which would add a long-term gain to the short-term production we're getting out of him.
