Modells sent out emails today that due to overwhelming response from their customers they have decided to honor the orders and sent out 1 time use promo codes to purchase 2k11 or the show for the previously advertised price

Isn't the promotion code for one use only? You have it in your post, someone else could use it.

So I was playing online in 2k. Hit my first homerun online (only played 3 games) with Zimmerman. Then I hit two more in the game, one with Morse, one with Ankiel. Morse went 4-5 hitting the cycle. POTG.

It's a sign. He needs to start the season.

Gotcha.  The original promo code was for anyone to use.  After that code was used and Modells canceled orders they sent a one time code to the people who previously placed orders.

I don't know that I like The Show.  The analog pitching is still just down and up, not the different motions like in 2k.  I might be the only person in the world, but I might buy 2k11 instead of The Show 11.  Downloading the 2k demo now to compare to The Show demo.

Unfortunately, yes. I hope that EA comes back in the game, or at least someone else, for next year since 2k doesn't have the MLB rights after this year. I'm so damn tired of 2k sports.
