I really wish I had a PS3 to buy The Show. It just seems so damn good.

I almost bought a PS3 last year just for that game. Ended up deciding against it, though.

I was just looking at the new screenshots and trailers for MLB 2K11. Looks pretty bad. I didn't hate the game last year, but I was bored with it after a month.

I have a PS3 but all I use it for is Blu-ray movies.

Can't wait for The Show.

Hope they made a few tweaks to the camera in the RTTS (namely giving you the option to pitch in batter's view, and to play catcher in batter's view)... but I'm excited about the new archetypes they've implemented with RTTS.

We'll have to get some games in. I love the Show, it's the reason I bought a PS3. I miss playing games with my friends and the overall better online experience but man do I love my PS3. Blu-ray, free online, and the show (and socom)? Perfect.

Probably skipping the Show this year. No upgrades to franchise mode, no need to purchase.

Might get bored in the weeks leading up to baseball season and cave, though.

Debating whether to get it or not. I didn't really play last years much. But I do like the fact that you can use the analog sticks for pitching/batting this year.

Got MLB 2K11 today. A bit better than 2k10 but nowhere near The Show. Still playable though, which sucks because it shouldn't be just playable. I really just want a good baseball game. Xbox has everything else, why is it slacking in that category!

Played online with the Nats vs Phillies. Livan was my starter. He went 7 IP with 1 ER 2 H and 13 K's before I took him out by accident. His fastball is 84 MPH while his curve is 69 mph  The guy could not hit the curve. I won 3-2.

The Show is absolutely freaking disgusting. As close to a perfect sports game as you'll find.

Didn't play as the Nats last night... but of course I took a look at the roster.

Werth
Zimmerman
Strasburg

Are the top 3 rated guys on the club.

Don't remember the rest, though I know Clippard is high up there.

Livo's character is just right. They've got him with the 84 fastball and the 69 MPH curve.

Guys who have their own stances...

Zimmerman
Desmond
LaRoche
Morgan
Bernadina
Rodriguez
Stairs

Guys with their own motions

Strasburg
Livo
Lannan
Marquis

Oddly enough, Werth has Generic #1 as his stance... doesn't look much like him.

Storen, Clippard, Gorzelanny and a couple other pitchers have specific pitching motions... but they belong to another player, as well.

I'll get deeper into the ratings when I get home today.

Do you have a PS3? If so, why would you want MLB 2K11?

Sounds like The Show and MLB 2K11 rosters are similar. Livo's pitches are the exact same. No one could hit his 69 curve

and No he doesn't have a PS3.

If you have PS3, no.

If you don't, and you want to play baseball, yes.

can anyone recommend a baseball game for Wii that the kids would enjoy (ages 8-10)?  we got them madden 11 last year but it was way too complex for them.

The stance looks okay to me, but the swing is a little off.

Mario Baseball is fun.

As far as pro ball... MLB Power Pros 2008 is a great game... with kid graphics that they'll really like!

It's also a really strategy filled game that adults can enjoy too, if they want to!

Hmm. Where'd you see that?

I swear his stance was Generic #1, which looks nothing like that stance that you posted.

I was watching this video:

I think the game looks great, but they REALLY need to update the commentary. It's been the same for 3+ years now.
