the Marlins have dominated us all season, it's time to gain some dignity back with a sweep which will contribute to the goal of avoiding 100 losses.

Who cares if we get 100 losses?  It's just a number.  All it means is that when we start contending, every mouthpiece will be saying cliche things like "here is a team that just X seasons ago suffered one-hundred losses and now blah blah blah"

Second, we've got a little flu big circulating through the Nats clubhouse. Cristian Guzman is still out of the lineup tonight. And now, Ryan Zimmerman is out too. "Zimmerman is in real bad shape," said Manny Acta, who himself was feeling under the weather.

Orr is starting at 3B  :?

I think they are heeding soxnats08's call to lose.
I think this should be a slam dunk loss. Florida owns Redding and Josh Johnson owns us. Felix is on the mound for Seattle tonight so we may move back into first place.

Although seriously, I was hoping that maybe Hernandez could try to play 3rd.

In the Mariners-Angels game, it's King Felix (3.38) vs. John Garland (4.79). I still don't like their chances of winning, their offense is beyond awful, worse than the Nats.

yuck. I would rather have seen Estrada make this start.

Manny is a joke. Redding is 1-3 with a 6.15 ERA in 5 starts against Florida this year yet Acta sends him out there anyways. Stupid ass.

Caps are whipping Hurricane ass. 2-0 in the first period with goals by Fleischmann and Bradley.

Runner at 3rd with 1 out and he's stranded. Milledge is woeful with RISP.

That's a preseason game, right?

Caps are gonna be sick this year.  I hope they got to the EC Finals against the Penguins and open up a can on them.

I can't help but laugh every time I see Pete Orr knowing that he wanted to play for the Nationals instead of Team Canada.

Redding loves rolling over for Hanley. He's always owned TVR.
