Redding's stupid ass makes me want to puke. If he's in the rotation next year we will lose at least 90 games.

sportsfan don't you know that hitting with RISP is overrated?
It's not overrated, per se, but it fluctuates with a lot of guys from year to year.  It makes no sense to undervalue a guy just because he has a bad year with RISP.  If it's a recurring thing, you can start to chalk it up to overall choking and suckitude in those situations.

Redding is the exact opposite of a reliable veteran pitcher. He's woeful.

Put this game away, Hermida.

I can't believe that nag Redding has the nerve to say in the pregame that he was proud of the winning percentage of his starts. Looking at the numbers, we won a lot of those games in spite of his piss poor performances.
Definitely. He was the benefit of almost all of our offensive explosions, especially earlier in the season.

What a freaking dummy. 0-2 pitch and he throws a rolling breaking ball right down the middle. I bet Tim leads all of the NL in terms of giving up 2-out runs.

A few more and he can get his ERA up to 5! Awesome. Come on Gaby!

Please let that be the last time TVR ever pitches in a Nationals uniform.

The comparison to Bergmann is a good one. If we had to pick one, I'd go with Bergmann mainly because he's younger.

About time Estrada got to pitch. freaking BS. He should have made this start. Manny is partially to blame for this garbage because he should know that the Fish own Redding's life.

Garrett Mock is the last one you morons.
Bob Carpenter is an idiot.  He didn't even know who Max Scherzer was.

I think spidernat should start using his rescue pic when people jump to the defense of Carpenter because it's even more laughable than the Beachball Berg love.

Hell yeah! Another run charged to the Vindicator. His Season ERA is up to 4.95! No way they can justify bringing back that POS with an ERA close to 5.

I'm glad we're seeing Estrada, but why hasn't he been used more?  Manny is a freaking idiot who would rather use bums like Manning every night than give youngsters much-needed experience.

Estrada had a stiff neck or something and was unavailable for a few weeks but he has since been available since last Friday.

One of Carpenter's defenders is a Bergmannite so that would fit. but I'd have to replace the man in the rescue picture with a blonde chick.

They'll just say he had double digit wins for us, therefore we're bringing him back.

I came back, and its 7-0, from 2-0 :?

Tim Redding's numbers post-All Star break:

67.1 IP 80 H 53 R 51 ER 14 HR 27 BB 45 K (3-8, 6.82 ERA, 1.59 WHIP)

No excuse whatsoever to bring him back. Please don't bring him back just because he's a veteran and a nice guy.

So what, maybe he doesn't pan out as an everyday guy, he'll still be a utility guy off the bench at worse. He's got great potential. That I am sure of.

We gave up jack crap for him anyways so it's not a big deal.

If we're really serious about trending upwards, yes it should. But we've seen it before. They may bring him back because he's a "vet" (I'd rather have a WWII vet on the mound) and he's relatively cheap. Although he may get 3-4 million in arbitration.  :?
Yep, they'll bring at least one of him and Perez back. Probably Bergmann too.

Can you imagine having all 3 of those pitchers back?    We can only afford to have 1 of those 3 back.
The only pitchers I'm sure will not be back are Speigner and Manning unless both sign Minor League deals with the Nats.

Estrada will start the year in AAA. Hanrahan, Shell, Hinckley, Mock and Rivera are almost guaranteed to be back with the Big team.

They'll probably bring back Colome.

WHAT A CATCH!!! Gotta be a nominee for catch of the year.

Bernadina is legit. I hope he is a starting OFer for us next season.
