That almost made me puke.
But he had a great second half and likes it here. I'm sure they'll bring him back.  :?

He also had double digit losses and he actually lost more than he won. But more telling is his ERA.

I'm just saying what their excuse will be...

The wind has robbed us of two balls that would have been easily HRs any other night.

Casto and Orr better not be on our team next season. It just wouldn't make sense.

Orr won't, Casto might but even that's questionable at this point.

Speigner is so good. I hope they bring him back to be our ace next year.

Speigner 2.0 has been a disaster.

It makes no sense. He had like a 23 inning scoreless streak as a reliever in Columbus. Whatever, sucks for him because he blew a golden opportunity to make the '09 bullpen. He'll be back in AAA somewhere next year. Probably on another team.

Can't stand the stupid ass Marlins and all of those bloop, broken bat hits. They've had at least 5 or 6 so far in the first two games of this series.

The undoubtedly tiny crowd sounds more into this game than a lot of the much larger crowds we've had this year.  Guess only the really hardcore Nats fans show up for a game like this  :?

Back to back hits by Casto and Orr after a walk by Dukes lead to a run.

Nice. Maybe the Marlins think they're good together and start 'em both next season.

99th loss in the books. 3-14 against the Fish.

And the Mariners are up 1-0 after the first inning against Anaheim.

I was at tonight's debacle, sitting in the outfield (pretty much behind Milledge), and from that vantage point, Dukes appears to REALLY be hurting.  There were several times during breaks in the "action" that he'd limp over to talk to Milledge, and it hurt me to watch him.

Something else we noticed that was amusing -- when Bergmann came on to pitch, the outfielders practiced fielding slow rollers instead of catching balls while he warmed up.  Thought that was very appropriate, especially given that the first batter he faced smacked a base hit to left field for Bernadina to field , and speaks volumes of their confidence in his pitching!

No way! If you're joking :worship: because that's funny as crap.

If Dukes is really hurting he should be shut down. It's stupid to keep playing him and risking further injury.

Bernadinas Catch though was an amazing feeling in the stadium. Hadnt really had the crowd the riled up besides walk offs, since RFK.

Most of everyone gave him a standing ovation for that.

It was number 1 play of the night on sportscenter.
Really? That's awesome. He deserves it. Definitely one of the best plays I've seen all year. It's up there with Willie's catch at Shea earlier in the season although that catch meant a lot more.

Dumb ass Phil Wood said that Bernadina is at best a #4 outfielder. Ridiculous. Can't stand Wood.

Hey as long as Bernadina can get his bat around to his minor league standards, he could be a good player up here. But im not really lookin for him to start yet, I hope we get Holliday :-P AND A. Gonz....

Thanks Spider
