Why is everyone acting up against Volquez? He threw a high inside pitch on a bunt attempt, which is what he's supposed to do. He even apologized to Balester when he was walking to 1st.

People love to hate, man. I think it's all the losing.

What was Phillips doing?  Too much hesitation, now we might be able to get another one.

I can't wait to finish this inning, just to look at Ballester throw from the mound to see if he's ok...

Isnt etiquette just to let the pitcher bunt? I mean you can throw a breaking ball, but a brushback is a little uncalled for

Belliard singled to left center, Bernadina scored, Balester to third, Lopez to second.
 :pimp: :pimp:
Guzman reached on fielder´s choice to second, Balester scored, Lopez to third, Belliard out at second.

I consider it all the DL we have, i dont want to lose Balester who can become a stud starter.

Volquez is a P.O.S. He carries himself like he is a 5-time Cy Young winner when in fact he has had a horrible career other than the first-half of this season. Balester has to get even and plunk that punk in the head next inning.

Let's go AK25!  Let's continue to get to Volquez.

Balester totally pwned Volquez by scoring the second run.

Did you notice that he loaded the bases? He's possibly just off right now.

I don't agree with "baseball etiquette" anyways...you get paid to win the ball game - not be a gentleman

Maybe he is anticipating an announcement in ten minutes as well?

I've never heard of that. You throw high and in to force a bad bunt.

He cant hit anything for a strike right now, movement on your balls doesnt always work to your advantage.

I kinda got a little carried away with the etiquette thing. I'm not normally one for it anyway, but coming inside on a pitcher seems like a little much.

IF it is done on purpose, I agree. I don't think that was the case, though.
