I think he tried to come inside.

There's absolutely nothing wrong w/ that, though. He wasn't trying to hit him and that's what matters. If he had done it on purpose, I would be fine w/ Dukes rolling out there in a wheelchair and knocking his ass out. But it wasn't intentional.

A lot of people on here have been bashing Flores mightily lately while praising Paul as if he is the answer or something.

well, Flores is coming back to earth a bit, sure and even you have to admit that.

but i dunno who has been "praising" LoDuca for anything other than commentating.

How Balester does this game all depends on our offense. If they don't score, Balester will give up 1-3 runs. If they score 3-5, Balester will get crushed. It's no longer a maybe. This is just the way it goes.

We'll see.

Nice fielding by the pimp, his first couple of games at 3B were a little rough, but he has looked a lot better as of late.

Balester didn't even seem to ice his hand between innings. It must have just grazed the back of his hand. Wow, an inch or so difference would have been a disaster.

haha CB40 probably wiped out on a few waves in his lifetime, so he can take the pain.

Let's get some more runs.

No one has been doing that. the reality is that Flores had a hot streak and has looked awful lately (he has struck out 40% of the time over the last 2 weeks and looked bad doing it). Also, no one has praised LoDuca.

Definitely and I was beginning to think that the team was made out of glass.

Looked like the ump called out Volquez looking at a ball outside on strike 3.

Some teams have made adjustments for Flores, so he just needs to adjust as well. If he had a hitting coach, he wouldn't be stuck doing that all on his own. His drive to right last night to get that run in was a great piece of hitting. Flores will be just fine.

Baseball God's feel sorry for us I guess and gave us a break for a change...maybe we aren't as amusing as we used to be to them
