Not if Dukes' cannon is what AZ thinks it is.

No the cannon is there. The toss on that play showed how powerful his arm is. But there was no way he was going to throw out the runner advancing to 3rd. His arm may be nice but it's still Elijah Dukes not Roberto Clemente.

Nieves' shot missed by a couple of inches.

Shouldn't we have at least 4 runs by now on this bum?

Not if Dukes' cannon is what AZ thinks it is.

If the throw had been on line and a bit lower, the play would have been close at the plate.

I hope Lopez can keep hitting the ball like that. He was unlucky there. He's unlucky a lot.

This whole team seems to be 'unlucky' this year...

Has anybody else noticed that Ray Knight cannot pronounce years in the 21st century?

Should have but in the first he gave up a 2-run homer that went 'unearned' because the score keeper ruled a line drive that was headed to CF for a single but hit him on the back and bounced to Belliard an error.
